Christmas Lantern Marci Card

La-la Land Crafts 2 day Workshop Project #3:
This 6" x 6" card is “made using all neutral” colors.  Card base is Vanilla color card stock with hints of brushed gold card stock.  Original design for this card is using Praying Marci. Image is replaced with Christmas Lantern Marci.  The Vanilla mat is made by scoring 1/8” from the edges to form a frame: this gives an illusion of another mat, too.

 La-la Land Crafts Dies used:
Open Leaf Flourish
Rolled Rose Small and Medium
Rolled Rose Large
Cherry Blossom Branch
Small Lacey Border
Stitched Circles
Folding Banners
Heart Scroll Corners
Diamonds Border
Arched Window
Stamp and dies can be found in the La-la Land Crafts store here.
Copic colors used:
Hair: W2, W4, W6, W8
Face: E000, E00, E11, R20
Coat, Hat, boots, Lantern: E50, E51, E53, E55
Dress: E50
Darice’s embossing folder called Wire Fence s used for the back ground on the top mat which is scored 1/8” from all the edges to form a frame.
LOVE the Parchment Vellum used for the Rolled Rose Small and Medium.  Spritz the roses with some Gold Heidi Swap spray, then add a small pearl in the each rose. The Open Leaf Flourish have slightly bent up leaves for more depth.  Pearl hat pins in the roses are used here, too.  The adhesive pearls in the Cherry Blossom Branch finish the embellishing for this card.
Card inside:
There are 3 layers of Vanilla card stock. Each layer is scored 1/8” from the edge to form a frame.  The  Heart Scroll Corners cut in Brushed Gold are on the top and bottom. A Stitched Circle cut in Vanilla is where a special message can  be stamped or hand written.  The Folding Banner is right on top.
Thank you for stopping by today - stay tuned for more projects from the 2 day La-la Land Crafts Workshop.
